Dialogue For Police Interview

With our new idea of having a police interview, we need to come up with some dialogue that is appropriate. Whilst Hannah was asking our drama teachers if they would step in and help out with our film, me and Nicole began to come up with a script. We brainstormed a few ideas and then became a bit stuck, so we decided to look at some real police interviews and some programs like CSI to get an idea of what we needed to include. We only needed to ocme up with a short script, so we then pitched our idea to Hannah and changed a few lines and made our script.

Detective: So. I need to know exactly when you last saw her. Do you remember?
Mother: [pause] Of course I remember. She looked so lovely. [staring at the floor, not concentrating]
Detective: Mrs Birch, we need to know. It's vital in this investigation.
Mother: It was Sunday 18th. She left at 2 O'clock to meet her friends, that's all I know.
Detective: Thank you. And don't worry, we'll find your daughter.
Mother: Please, you have to.
